Michael McLaren says successive UK governments have themselves to blame for the rise of the Reform Party and the unrest in their streets.

He says the arrogance of the Labour and Conservative Parties and the introduction of two-tier policing, which undermined the universal principle of equality, have allowed for repeat scenes of violence against civilians and subsequently criminal vigilantism as an act of retaliation.

“The declining economic situation across Britain has certainly helped propel Nigel Farage to the front, but it’s the social, cultural and service delivery issues associated with mass immigration – and mass immigration from some non-western nations in particular – that are sustaining his popularity,” he said.
