One of the victims of the Trorrington home invasion has broken her silence a week on from the terrifying event.

In a statement, Di Blessing asked for privacy, but she also shared a touching message to her husband.

“I want to thank my husband, my hero. There can surely be no greater love than shielding and protecting a loved one,” she said.

Clinton Maynard has slammed the possibility of charges being laid against Keith Blessing.

“If he is, there should be riots. I’m not advocating violence, of course, but people will be so angry about this,” he said.
