Val Holmes says he would never turn a Queensland jersey down if the opportunity comes his way, as the Dragons come off the back of an incredible win against the Broncos.

Speaking to Adam Hawse and Mark Geyer on 2GB Sports Today, the centre says his previous comments came from him reiterating what the media had been saying.

“I would’ve loved to have been there for game one … even if I’m on the extended bench or just in the squad, it’s always a privilege to kind of run around with those guys,” he said.
