‘Waste of space’ – Former Liberal Minister slams MP set to return to Parliament
David Elliott has slammed Labor Party dealings which will see Anthony D’Adam return to the Upper House for another eight years despite being sacked.
The former Transport Minister has called D’Adam a waste of space, also weighing in on the outgoing MP Mark Buttigieg, telling Clinton Maynard it’s a shame to see pushed out.
“It is very, very sad that Buttigieg is going to be thrown out. And particularly when you think that D’Adam is going to stay there … both sides of parliament are going to have this problem over the course of the next six months,” he said.
