‘That should be the barrier’ – Clinton Maynard calls out Transport NSW executive
Transport for New South Wales is set to make it easier for people who can’t read or speak English to get their learner’s permit.
Clinton Maynard has called out the executive director of road safety regulation at Transport for New South Wales, Duncan Lucas for celebrating the decision.
“People who can’t speak English and can’t read English should not be on our roads. I’m sick of us bending over backwards to help people who come from overseas and don’t learn the language. We should make it harder for them,” he said.
“Make it harder, not easier. We’ve got a road toll that’s going up,” he added.
