Former NRL player Daniel Saifiti has opened up on the moment he knew he would have to retire and the one text he received that stood out to him.

The Dolphins prop also revealed the moment he knew he’d never play another Rugby League game.

“As I started doing first contact with all the boys, and I just couldn’t hold up to any contact,” he said.

He also revealed the highlight of his Origin career was getting the chance to play with his brother.
