The RBA has met industry expectations, raising the cash rate from 4.1 to 4.35 basis points.

It marks the third cash hike since the start of the year.

Scott Phillip from the Motley Fool told Michael McLaren says inflation numbers are going the wrong way.

“They say today’s policy was made by a majority,” he said.
