Michael McLaren has questioned whether the exponential rise of electric vehicles witnessed earlier this year could soon be over.

His question comes as fuel costs have significantly dropped from their peak earlier in the year.

“We have to remember that this is a segment of the automotive market that the government have incentivised because of purely ideological reasons,” he said.
