Andrew Johns has tipped Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles star Tolu Koula to make his debut for the NSW Blues this year, on Wide World of Sport with Adam Hawse.

The 23 year old looks set for his first state of origin appearance thanks to his continual stand out performance during the NRL season.

“But Koula, jeez, I think he’s put his name up in lights, he’ll be in the origin squad somewhere, whether it’s left center or fullback” Johns said.

The five year contract extension alongside his Roy Bull Player of the Year award has placed him in the top contenders to pull on the jersey come May 27th for game one.

The Sea Eagles coasted to a victory over the Cowboys yesterday, winning 38-6.
