Bail decision for Australia’s most decorated living solider
Bill Woods has reacted to the breaking news that Australia’s most decorated living soldier has been granted bail in relation to the charges of alleged war crimes.
Ben Roberts- Smith has been charged with five counts of the war crime of murder which he has continued to deny.
The decision came from Sydney local court Judge, Greg Grogin, who said there are “exceptional circumstances” for his release.
Roberts-Smith was arrested last Tuesday at Sydney Domestic Airport and remanded to Silverwater Prison in Sydney’s West.
