‘There is a limit’ – David Elliott reacts to court overturn of NSW protest laws
NSW’s new anti-protest laws have been dismantled by the Supreme Court, sparking a debate over public order and constitutional rights.
David Elliott joined 2GB Sydney Now with Lucy Zelić to discuss the ruling, saying “the money that’s been spent on maintaining law and order when these protests occur is money taken away from school kids and hospitals”.

“I feel terrible for the New South Wales police because they asked for these powers for a good reason… the risk to the community that we’ve seen over some of these recent protests means that they deserve to have these powers.”
