‘Accounting trick’ – James Paterson slams $53 billion defence spend
The federal government has pledged $53 billion for defence over the next decade, in response to rising global tensions.
Speaking to 2GB Mornings with Luke Grant, shadow defence minister James Paterson expressed deep scepticism about the proposed figures, saying the boost did little to increase actual military capability.
