Qantas to cut back domestic flights and lift airfares amid rising fuel prices
Qantas will cut back domestic flights over the next two months and raise airfares as higher fuel prices are set to add $800 million to its total fuel bill.
Aviation Writer at The Australian Robyn Ironside, joined Sydney Now to provide an update on Qantas’ big announcement.
Their fuel bill for the second half of the financial year is expected to increase between $600 million and $800 million,” Ironside said on Sydney now.
