After years of stalling and developments falling through, a plan for the Bali Bombing memorial has been put forward.

A campaigner for the Bali Memorial Association has told Clinton Maynard the current memorial doesn’t tell the full story of what happened on the night of the Bali Bombing in 2002.

Keith Pearce says a park or museum would be worth the effort, but admits the plan he was involved in was likely too costly.

“I think they’re trying to balance what they can build there with what’s going to be sustainable, ongoing, that can fund itself,” he said.
