New South Wales police are targeting the organisers behind an e-bike ride out which shut down the Sydney Harbour Bridge in early February.

Superintendent Anthony Boyd has blamed social media influencers trying to increase their social presence.

“We know who they are and we’ve cracked down on them,” he said.

He’s also revealed police have gotten in touch with a school identified in the videos.

“They’re too young to be fined … but we were able to discuss the dangers,” he added.
