Opposition leader Angus Taylor has called out the Albanese government for failing to follow through on their promise to force refineries across Australia to sell their fuel.

Speaking to Clinton Maynard on 2GB, Sydney Now, he says he wants to see what impact forcing refineries to sell will have before the Opposition moves to push for a cut to the fuel excise.

“It’s just absurd that you’ve got a minister that has in Chris Bowen that has imposed emissions constraints on this refinery, which means they have to export their fuel. So first things first, let’s get our refineries selling their fuel in Australia.
