A retired Australian army major general has revealed what the likely outcome of the death of Iran’s supreme Ayatollah Ali Khamenei means for the regime.
Gus McLaughlin says he believes the most likely outcome will be an accommodation by the Trump administration, which will see a version of the current regime, but one that promises to walk away from nuclear.
“Whether we believe that or not, you know, is a separate question,” he told Michael McLaren
