A number of construction workers are lucky to be alive after a near miss involving a crane that appeared to be lowering scaffolding from a high-rise building.

Dashcam footage was sent to 2GB after a driver witnessed the incident while driving along Talavera Rd at Macquarie Park.

Urban Development Group General Manager Nick Audrey has told 2GB that they contacted SafeWork NSW after the incident, who have told them to conduct an investigation. That investigation is now underway.
