The idea a former MP has raised to honour the victims of the Bondi terror attack
Former MP David Elliott has told Clinton Maynard the Minns government should walk away from the idea of demolishing the footbridge where the alleged Bondi terror attack shooters murdered 15 innocent people.
He says the bridge should be renamed and renovated to honour the 15 lives cut short.
“I want the premier and the mayor to write to the Geographical Names Board and let’s call this footbridge Matilda’s Crossing. Let’s give it a great Australian name after a beautiful little girl,” he said.
