‘Lift their game’ – Michael McLaren’s message to councils following wild weather
Michael McLaren has called on councils around Sydney and New South Wales to focus on the issues that really matter.
His comments come after wild weather resulted in flash flooding and damage.
“Councils need to lift their game,” he said.
Councillor at the City of Canterbury-Bankstown Council Harry Stavrinos says councils should be proactive.
“The biggest issue with councils today is that they often wait for residents to contact them in order to address issues,” he said.
