In a sensational series of events, Jiang Lin has made history as the first woman to win the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race overall.

Sailing the double-handed Min River alongside French sailor Alexis Loison, Lin told 2GB Summer Mornings, “This is a dream.”

The pair were elevated to first place after the original leader was hit with a time penalty due to a rule infringement just a few nautical miles before the finish line.
