There’s a challenge kicking off today to honour 12-year-old Charlotte O’Brien, the schoolgirl who took her own life last year after being bullied at school.
Since the tragedy, her parents, Mat and Kelly, have been on a mission to honour their little girl’s legacy.
They’ve organised an event to raise money for youth mental health called ‘Charlotte’s Wish Walk Week’. It’s a seven-day walking challenge, and it gets underway today.
All you have to do is record the number of kilometres you walk each day and ask your family and friends to sponsor you.
More than 300 people have signed up so far, raising over $23,000. The money will go toward launching the ‘Charlotte’s Wish Scholarship in 2026’.
