Paralympic legend Ellie Cole has expressed her sadness over Ariarne Titmus’s shock retirement announcement, calling it a “sad day for the sport”.

Cole, reflecting on Titmus’s incredible Olympic career and dominance in the pool, paid tribute to her legacy and what her absence will mean for Australian swimming.
