Liberal Senator James Paterson has slammed the government’s handling of the ISIS families’ return, calling out the lack of transparency.

Paterson, who questioned Foreign Minister Penny Wong in Senate Estimates, is demanding to know why the government is refusing to confirm basic details about the two women and four children who reportedly paid smugglers to escape Syria.
