Arrests made after Sydney Trains targeted repeatedly by vandals
Sydney Trains has revealed the network was repeatedly targeted by vandals over the weekend with four teenagers arrested in relation to some of the incidents.
Transport for NSW secretary Josh Murray says there were dozens of incidents over the weekend.
“As late as last night, we had four teenagers arrested at Wolli Creek, they fronted the police with their parents, we’ve caught a number of groups over recent days,” he told Clinton Maynard.
New South Wales Police have confirmed four juveniles boarded a train at Tempe railway station before allegedly breaking into a crew cabin just before midnight on Tuesday.
“Officers arrested the males aged between 12 and 15, the juveniles were later released pending enquiries,” Maynard said.
