We’re throwing our support behind an elderly duo who lost their home and everything inside it when a fire engulfed the property.

The fund has been set up by a family member who wrote: “Yesterday my grandmother 96 years who is the heart and soul of our family along with my uncle who is really loved and would do anything for anyone lost their home.

“Their whole house, the photos, their clothes, their precious belongings and the priceless memories were all gone in an instant when an unsuspecting fire engulfed their home.

“The house they have known and loved for 35 years. The house that held many family occasions, the home that was the centre for all family affairs. All gone. We are not asking for much just a bit a support as small or large as you are able, to help them back on their feet. We need them to find some hope from such a dire situation.

“Ultimately, we praise our God for sparing their lives which in itself is the greatest gift of all. Thanks for your support. We are utterly greatful for their kind neighbours quick thinking that saved them.”
