Sharks and Maroons assistant coach Josh Hannay has been appointed Gold Coast head coach for the next three seasons.

Hannay takes over from Des Hasler, after he sees out the final two games of the season.

Titans chief executive Steve Mitchell denies the club made a ‘mistake’ in signing Hasler last year.

Brad Fittler weighed in on the move with Adam Hawse.
