A police officer is taking on a tough challenge for a good cause on Friday morning. Senior Constable James Ghata is setting off on a 65-kilometer walk, and it isn’t your regular walk.
It’s a treacherous hike through the Blue Mountains wilderness—with no trail!
Senior Constable James is going to try and walk non-stop for more than 50 hours.
It’s all in honor of his late friend and colleague, Inspector Bryson Anderson, who in 2012 was fatally stabbed while responding to a police incident in western Sydney.
