Former Minister David Elliott has expressed his disappointment at public complaints regarding slow SES response times to storm damage.

He labelled some complainants “entitled,” reminding the public that SES members are volunteers who often respond to dangerous call-outs after finishing their regular jobs, criticising the lack of appreciation, particularly from more affluent areas.
