2GB is rallying behind Ray Hadley’s family and his granddaughter, Lola, who has been diagnosed with leukaemia.

We’re proudly supporting Lola’s mother, Laura, in her incredible fundraising effort—an 86km walk to help find a cure for childhood cancer.

In a statement about her challenge, Laura writes: “I am taking part in 86K for a Cure to help find a cure for childhood cancer.

“Every month, 86 children are diagnosed with cancer. In most cases, there is no known cause, treatments can last for years, and the impact on families is immense.

“So, I am taking on this challenge for the 86 children diagnosed each month.

“Together, we can help find a cure for childhood cancer and develop safer, more effective treatments.”
