Some Commonwealth Bank customers will soon be charged a fee to withdraw their own money as cash.

People currently using a “Complete Access” account will be moved to a “Smart Access” one in January.

They’ll then have to pay three-dollars, if they withdraw cash from a bank branch, post office, or by phone.

Chris O’Keefe says it’s beyond obscene.
