Michael McLaren has shared his opinion on the purpose of the Commonwealth Games saying it’s less about sport and more about keeping ties to the United Kingdom strong.

He says he’s been disheartened by the news the next Games in Glasgow will have a short roster of games, which points to how short-sighted Commonwealth leaders have become.
