Communities to rally over Water Buyback Plans

A Mayor in regional New South Wales says locals are frustrated, as the Federal Government moves forward with its controversial Murray Darling Basin Plan water bill.

Communities in Griffith, Leeton and Deniliquin will rally on Tuesday, calling for the Albanese Government to go back to the drawing board.

Rural Reporter Emily Minney spoke to Griffith Mayor Doug Curran about his community’s concerns.
