NSW Labor has scrapped plans for affordable housing in Sydney’s west, citing the risk of a 0.002% chance of once-in-a-hundred-year floods on the flood plains they’d be built upon.

Local member Warren Kirby called in to argue Labor’s case for the decision, saying they had good reason to do so.
