In case you missed it, a passionate Ray Hadley last week was at his influential best when he took it upon himself to pull some strings behind the scenes to help 16-year-old Ronny from the Solomon Islands in his fight with a tumour.

Ronny has a skull base/sinus tumour and was in desperate need of transportation to Australia when Ray, along with Associate Professor Raewyn Campbell, both got involved.
