Construction at the New Sydney Fish Market has hit had snag, as a crane has fallen at the construction site mere metres from the 2GB Studios in Pyrmont.

NSW Police released this statement about the incident:

About 12.30pm today (Thursday 28 September 2023), emergency services were called to a construction site in Bridge Street, Glebe, following reports a crane had fallen.

A man was treated on scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics and will be taken to St Vincent’s Hospital in a stable condition.

Safe Work NSW will investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
