‘Attacking free speech’: Labor delays public feedback on misinformation bill
The Federal Government is under pressure for its postponed release of submissions regarding the proposed disinformation and misinformation law, amidst concerns that it may hinder freedom of speech.
This law will grant the hand the Australian Communications and Media Authority the power to fine social media giants and determine what is classified as harmful activity.
