Australian Electoral Commissioner, Tom Rogers, has explained the processes regarding the Voice referendum, acceptable answers and possible voting options. 

He reiterated the importance of writing YES or NO in the ballot box.

Rogers emphasised the return to pre-pandemic services, including pre-poll voting, postal voting and mobile polling in remote communities and aged care facilities.

Early voting will open 2 weeks before polling day, which will be October 3rd for NSW residents due to the public holiday.

Rogers urged voters to treat “volunteers with respect”.
