‘It will spell disaster’: Shadow Minister raises questions about Aboriginal cultural heritage laws

Federal Shadow Environment Minister, Jonno Duniam has raised concerns over Federal Aboriginal cultural heritage laws following WA’s legislation.

The Federal government have been accused of stalling Aboriginal cultural heritage laws until after the Voice referendum.

Duniam stated that adopting similar cultural heritage laws to WA’s legislation would “spell disaster for private property rights, for investment, for farmers”.

“It will have a chilling effect on everything”, he continued.
