More than 50 whales dead after beach stranding

A pod of pilot whales has beached itself on WA’s shore after exhibiting strange behaviour all morning.

In a devastating event, a pod of nearly 100 whales has washed up on the shore of WA’s, Cheynes Beach.

Deb spoke to Sarah Smith, a Nine News reporter at the scene in Albany, and Dr. Vanessa Pirotta, a Marine Biologist to uncover the mystery.
