Regional job opportunities arise amid ‘jobs boom’

Regional Australia Institute has launched a ‘Move To More’ campaign aimed at promoting regional careers during a ‘jobs boom’.

Director of External Affairs, Laureta Wallace explained that there is a three-fold job growth in regional Australia compared to metropolitan areas.

There are currently 91,000 regional jobs vacant representing $1.7 billion in unlocked salaries.

“It’s a change in lifestyle… the chance to make a difference …”, Wallace said.

“And to be more than a number, but to really have an impact in that community”.
