Dugald Saunders has ripped into the NSW government for establishing a committee into animal welfare.

The committee came about as a result of a political football, but Saunders told Ray Hadley there is zero need for it.

“It’s a standing committee that does not need to exist and will cost taxpayers money”, he told 2GB.
