How A.I. Could Change the Game for Parkinson’s disease
An Australian researcher is set to present groundbreaking research to the world on Parkinson’s disease after developing an artificial intelligence tool designed to detect warning signs.
Currently, there is no cure for Parkinson’s and the only way to diagnose the disease is through physical symptoms.
Diana Zhang from the University of New South Wales will present to the World Parkinson’s Congress next month an AI tool that cant identify warning signs from blood samples.
She revealed to Deborah Knight just how her project and research came about and what she hopes it will achieve.
“Really exciting what the future can hold,” she said.
