The author of the best-selling thriller In The Clearing, J.P. Pomare, discusses his latest book with Deb.

Home Before Night is set during the Melbourne lockdown and follows a mother’s desperate search for her missing son, whilst having secrets of her own.

In conversation about the book, Pomare explained that he “set out to write a frustrating, unlikeable character… But hopefully, you understand [her] when you get to the second half of the book”.
