North Queensland legend Johnathan Thurston is hopeful his former team can turn things around today against the Roosters.

The Cowboys have had a shaky start to the season after surprising many last year by making it through to the preliminary finals.

Thurston told The Continuous Call Team the Cowboys were “dismal” week against Cronulla but is hopeful they’ll be able to score some points today.
