Men’s netball is becoming increasingly popular, following last year when Netball NSW included male divisions in both the junior and senior state titles.

Netball NSW’s General Manager of Communities, Trish Crews, told Deborah Knight that “There are so many more competitions and opportunities now for boys in netball”.

“We run school cups across Australia and our primary school teams are growing exponentially,” said Trish.

Deb believes that opening up opportunities for people to play the sports they want is a “welcome move”.
