The party has been searching for a new leader for nearly a month, following former premier Dominic Perrottet’s resignation after losing the state election.

Mark Speakman has been elected as the new leader of the New South Wales Liberal Party.

The former Attorney-General and member for Cronulla, Mark Speakman, beat Anthony Roberts (22 votes to 13) in a party room vote this morning.
