Tributes are flowing in for Australian Roman Catholic priest and community worker, Father Bob Maguire, who sadly passed away yesterday at age 88.

Ben reminisced about when Father Bob had a segment on the 2GB Drive show called ‘The Gospel According to Father Bob’.

“You’re not going to get me in trouble, are you, comrade?” Father Bob would ask Ben, as he was already a controversial figure in the Catholic Church.

“He was a very decent human being…He’d give anything to anyone, no questions asked,” said Ben.
