A Walgett farmer has highlighted the harsh reality facing the Northern NSW town.
They’ve only received 30 mills of rain over the past 6 months and the rivers have run dry with the local community relying on groundwater.
A report has found the security of drinkable water is comparable to underdeveloped cities in Bangladesh.
Jamie Warden told Mark Levy, it means locals are turning to bottled water.
