Raiders SLAMMED for ‘Anzac’ jumpers using US soldier image

Mark Levy Comments

Mark Levy has called out the Canberra Raiders management for using a stock image of a US soldier on their ‘Anzac’ jerseys, costing supporters thousands.

If you look back at last year’s jumper worn by the Raiders, it depicts a US soldier, a similar image to the one used on the Canberra strip has been found on a stock image website.

“It’s obviously embarrassing and offensive given the enormity of ANZAC Day, but I also think it’s a bit rich for these clubs to monetise such an important occasion,” said Mark Levy.

“It’s unfair on the supporters who pay their hard earned money for memberships.”
